Don't buy aluminium valve caps as they can oxidised and be very awkward to remove - speaking from experience!

The guys on my vanvan forum run alloy valve caps and corrosion was an issue but a dab of Vaseline on the threads can prevent this

A little WD40 or HHS 2000 will also do the trick.
