Just to clarify matters, Michelin CC are not the only all season tyre to have the snowflake/three peaks symbol; - Continental All Season, Bridgestone 005, Goodyear Vector 4 Season, & Falken Euro All Season all carry this symbol, and there are probably other brands too.

Re: ALL SEASON / 4 SEASON TYRES IN OE SIZES
I stand corrected, I've also found Yokohama as well.
Perhaps Michelin were the first, a year or two ago and advertised that then.
Glad we've got lots of choice now, as I certainly found the Cross Climate extremely noisy, even though the specs indicate otherwise.
Maybe someone with a Vitara can comment on some of the other winter legal 'summer' tyres in time for the snow. (I live 150m up in the Dales, so ordinary tyres just dont work for most winters)

Re: ALL SEASON / 4 SEASON TYRES IN OE SIZES
I have driven several cars and my Vitara with the Vredestein Quatrac 5. These are quieter than the tires with a V profile
I am very satisfied with these tires, however, they are not the best option in wet weather. But in the snow they are more than good. They are of course not as good as winter tires
I have now switched to the Quatrac Pro. These seem to be better in the rain.

Re: ALL SEASON / 4 SEASON TYRES IN OE SIZES
Michelin Cross Climate plus like the standard Continentals I found very noisy and also very prone to punctures, I have 4 Cross Climate plus 215/60R16 on steel wheels and I have had to buy 2 new ones due to punctures (Friend also has an SX4 with Cross Climate and said he also found they punctured easily)
I very nearly tried the Yokohama all season tyre on my SX4 I have just purchased but decided to stick with the Yokohama G015 I know works well

I have just swapped over from Goodyear Efficient Grip Performance on my Skoda Octavia Scout (haldex Gen4) to Goodyear Vector 4Season Gen2 and they are probably the best tyre I've fitted on my current vehicle.
Quieter, more 'planted' and a lot more give. Unfortunately I don't have a dropped kerb leading to my drive, but the All Season handles it with aplomb. With the other tyres you approached it with a sense of trepidation.
I normally swap over to 16" steel wheels fitted to Nokian WR A3's, but this will be the first time in All Season. It very rarely snows here (but when it does we get hit hard!) But the temperature from October to April barely rises above single figures, hence going for All Season.
When they were fitted in early July, Kwik Fit mobile were doing my size of tyre for £100 fully fitted, (£400 all in) saving me nearly£100 against the next cheapest fitted price. And all without leaving the house!

What are your opinions on the Michelin CrossClimate+ as an all rounder. I am looking to get all four changed within a couple of weeks. I only have the 2WD version and I normally swap front to back every year, to help even tyre wear.
Do you have a decent recommendation for an all year tyre?

Re: ALL SEASON / 4 SEASON TYRES IN OE SIZES
We ran a set of Michelin cross climate+ on a Vitara AllGrip on some winter steels in 215/60R16 and found they punctured twice very easily
My friend then purchased a Suzuki SX4 and was pleased it had two nearly new Cross Climates on the front and was planning to buy two more......until again one got a puncture beyond repair so he purchased 4 Yokohama Geolandars
With the tyres off the rim the tyres are very soft on the sidewall, but could not comment on wear rate as they have not lasted without puncturing
The Michelin's are not a cheap tyre and there are other options in that price range such as the Nokian, Good Year and Yokohama all season tyres that may be worth considering

Re: ALL SEASON / 4 SEASON TYRES IN OE SIZES
Noticed that my vredestein quatrac 5 have started to crack badly on the sidewall of all 4 tyres
Every tyre i buy seem to suffer the same problem after a few years!?!?
Anyone recommend a brand that don't crack?

Re: ALL SEASON / 4 SEASON TYRES IN OE SIZES
I have taken a set of nearly new Vredstein Quatrack 5's off my recently acquired Swift 4x4 as they just didn't seem to suit the car, I have replaced them with Yokohama AW21 4 Seasons that have improved noise/ride quality
Obviously I have no idea on long term use but all the Yokohama Geolandars I use have not suffered from any cracking including a set of G012 I have just removed from our Jimny, they have been on since 2015 covered 45k and no deterioration other than tread wear
The AW21 4 Seasons...

Thanks karl! £114 per tyre on black circles inc fitting.
Like the look of the tread pattern, it's got a better wet grip rating than my current tyres.

Re: ALL SEASON / 4 SEASON TYRES IN OE SIZES
i had cooper at3,s on my pajero they were only on for about 2/3 years and they had cracked all over the place, which i found strange for cooper tyres, luckily i sold them to a farmer who wanted them just to bounce around his fields all day,and i ended up with toyo cross country, but then sold it bought the vitara and had michelin crossclimate plus 2 fitted, apart from some road noise now and then they have been a good tyre, especially driving down from metro centre yesterday in monsoon type rain conditions...

For some reason the Quatracks seemed very harsh on the Swift which was quite disappointing as the four nearly new quality tyres was a good sign the car had been previously well maintained unlike the seven Swifts I had previously looked at with all sorts of cheap and non matching rubber
Many of the AW21 reviews are on Japanese sites as they have been released there prior to Europe but Google Translate gives you a good idea that they get good reviews.......I even got to try them out this week in some light snow and they appear quite capable

Re: ALL SEASON / 4 SEASON TYRES IN OE SIZES
I just got the
Yokohama Geolandar A/T G015 215/60 R17
thrown on my 16 plate suzuki S.
Just in time for the snow in London. Looks great and i didn't get stuck like a bunch of other cars on the road.
