Genuine suzuki armrest
Hey lads looking for some info
Rang my local suzuki where I recently purchased my vitara about an armrest and was shocked at the price, first of all it was €195+vat and the as he said I had just bought the Jeep he would do it €180 all in. What price can it be got for in the UK or around?
Was also just looking for the rugged drl surrounds and was quoted €68 euro but I think iv seen them for £44 (€55)somewhere
Thanks in advance

I'll have a check for you tomorrow. I think he gave you a fitted price there but it's easy to do yourself.
You can also check the suzuki accessories site too.

Make sure thats the full fitting kit, you need to change the fixing bracket and a few other bits and bobs.
It's basically an S-Cross armrest, maybe you can grab one on eBay?

You need a new fitting bracket that sits internally in the armrest, basically for it to bolt to. You'll also have new screws. screw covers and come plastic caps to cover where the USB port goes on the S-Cross as ours are down by the gear stick.

Re: Genuine suzuki armrest
Got one coming and going to fit it myself after finding a video (albeit in Italian) that makes it look a quite straightforward job.
I'll take some pics as I go and figure out how to post them up once its completed if it helps. I miss the armrest cubby I had on my previous car, its where I was able to keep a small bottle of HP sauce (stood up) for the weekend treat, bacon rolls!
*Edit*
Armrest arrived with all the other bits, going to attempt to fit it tomorrow with pics of how if I'm successful!

And yes, the HP Sauce fits nicely.

Re: Genuine suzuki armrest
Fitted the armrest last night after getting the car home, to give me a bit more time to fit the tow bar and rear bumper protector today as I've never done either before.
All in all it went ok, I had more electrical modules to relocate than on the video shows but it was quite straightforward. I'd say it took me about 20 minutes start to finish and I was pleased with the result.
The only negative is that the stitching should match the seats but then I suppose Suzuki would have to make a lot more personalised pieces than one fits all.
I didn't need to do a step by step guide as I didn't realise there was already a good video on here already, oops!

Not sure what to do with the large standard piece I had to remove, maybe I'll put it in the recycling bank.

Re: Genuine suzuki armrest
Do you know if the new metal bracket has a part number on it ?. I am waiting for one to be delivered from abroad, but I don't think the bracket that I am getting is the same as that one. The one with my arm rest looks to be longer.

No it's coming from China. It has the red stitching on to match the red on my S seats.
