Oil filter question
Ordered a suzuki oil filter part no 16510-81420 for my 2018 s-cross 1.4 boosterjet. Just checked the part number of the one they sent and its 16510-82703. Anyone know if suzuki has changed the part number or filter. Bought online from suzuki dealer who Ive bought the oil filter from before with no issues. The only difference is that this time they asked for my registration no where they didnt before. Cant see there being a difference between vitara and s-cross 1.4 engine. The two filters are almost identical except the 81420 has 8 small holes on the base plate and the 82703 has 6 larger holes.Should be ok but thought to ask on here first.

Re: Oil filter question
Just out of interest where is the new filter made?
The longer 1.6 filter 16510-61A21-000 was made in Austria (Mahle) but the new supplied item 16510-61A31-000 is a Japanese item
This could of course be a post EU/Brexit change of supplier?

Re: Oil filter question
New part no. is made in Japan, old one was Austria.
I think all parts are coming from Japan since Brexit.
I don't think Suzuki GB is sourcing from European warehouses anymore.

Re: Oil filter question
Quite a few early Suzuki parts I am ordering are listed now as "Back Order" where they would have usually been "Two Days Germany/Italy/France"
Do you know if they now have a direct supply from Hungary now as sending Magyar part to Japan then back to UK would be weird logistics

Re: Oil filter question
As far as I'm aware parts are only coming via Japan or via nationwide 'dealer search'
