Hidden feature or a minor stroke?

I have a 2017 Vitara S and I am the first to admit that I haven’t read ALL the pages in the Driver Manual, but…
I experienced a “strange” thing the other day. I was driving on the highway up here in the dark, icy and snowy north of Sweden.

My speed was something like 100km/h (60mph) when I got the brilliant idea to test if the road was slippery so I could adjust my speed if it was.
So I, just for some seconds, pressed the brake pedal hard and expected the ABS-system to start “pulsing”.

Sure it did, but what I didn’t expect was that the Hazard Warning Lights started flashing, atleast the interior indicators did (If my eyes didn’t fooled me and I am pretty sure they didn’t ?!?)

I have tested the ABS-system both before and after that time and no flashing Hazard Warning Lights then, but those times at a much lower speed.

So, does anyone know if there is a function like “If the ABS-system activates at speeds over this or that the Hazard Warning Lights will activate” or did I maybe had a minor stroke and just seeing things?

Right now on the news it's about snow chaos in north of Sweden. I live in the south and havn't had any snow this winter yet. But icy on the roads.

Look forward to any pictures if you do get decent snowfall  

We had a bit of snow on New Year's Eve , this was my attempt at being Scandinavian trying out the Yokohama AW21's and the LED light bar on the Swift 4x4 although it is on the Kerry Ridgeway that is on the Shropshire/Wales border...

looks like you had about the same as we had in the north east

we dont get it down south in the tropics of essex lol

The hazards coming on after very hard braking is a standard feature on most cars these days. Not really recommended to try and test if its working. Think of the non abs carnage behind you !!
