Looks great, LourensL!

Do the side trims come apart? Was it difficult to do? I was thinking of doing something similar but wasn’t sure if these trims were two piece.

Harajack,

It are two separate parts. And they're attached together at the back with a few plastic clamps.

And difficult... whats is difficult...  Wink
Make sure you have good vinyl, that makes it all a lot easier
I usually wrap with 3M 1080 or 2080.  The red reflective vinyl i used is Oratlite 5600e.

I plan to do the same to mine at the rear plus the chrome bits at the front, it brightens it up a bit and is easily removed in the future. I was just going to use a standard bright red wrap but I like your idea with the reflective wrap.

For the front I'm also going to use regular M3 2080 red and Matt black wrap.
(in the Netherlands It is not allowed to use red reflective material on the front of a car)

I'm going to make the DRL ornaments matte black and the strip between the DRLs bright red.

Wraped the rings on the dashboard with gloss black vinyl.
Now it fits nicely with the steering ornament.

A reversing camera is a nice tool.
But if you are used to parking sensors, you will quickly miss something ...

So to prevent damage, we have had the parking sensors installed by the dealer 😎

The set has a Suzuki OEM number, but it is "just" a Dometic (weaco) MagicWatch MWE.
Which are verry nice sets of PDC's

Inspirational Lourens, love the wrapping idea. Makes me want to personalise my Vitara a little more. I have the Misti wheels and tinted rear lenses which go well with the Savannah Ivory and Black. A black grill wrap would look nice. Your's now looks a little the Katana special I have seen somewhere in the forum but better. A brilliant job well executed.

Thanks for the compliments,

My Vitara does indeed look a lot like the Katana. But it's not my intention to make a Katana look-a-like.
Many of the accessories and styling come from my previous White Vitara. I had Styling of my Vitara done well before the introduction of the Katana 😉

So I say the Katana looks a lot like my Vitara 😉🤣

Here's a picture of my "old" Vitara

P. s. Love the dark tail lights of your Vitara 👍

I did darken the rear fog light with foil.

True, you beat Suzuki to that look!
Not had mine very long and it too is the 1.0 litre Boosterjet Auto. Really thought I would need the 1.4 coming from a 1.6 FSI but was very surprised at the low down pull off this little engine, and how smooth and quiet it was. Was the white Vitara a 1.0 litre and what influenced your choice Louren's ?
Just ordered the flip key (thanks for that) and plastic covers for the door stays and locks. Looks unfinished without these I feel, standard items on most cars.

The white Vitara was a 1.6 petrol.
The reason I switched to 1.0 the has 2 reasons.

Reason 1, the white 1.6 was 3 years old (with only 39,000 km) so time for a new one. (at least that's what I made my wife believe)

The other reason was that the 1.0 in the Netherlands were offered extremely cheaply because the hybrid was on the way. And I got a mega offer from my dealer for my white one. As a result, I had a write-off of only €500 in 3 years.
