I found this complete 30mm lift kit using PU spacers for the front and back in eBay, would you recommend it?

This kit will give you 25mm lift but will not give you any more articulation off road
The advantage of this kit is that you use the standard coil springs which in theory should give you the same ride quality
Lift kits with longer coil springs can sometimes be a lot stiffer and give a choppy ride. Using longer coil springs on mcpherson struts also reduces the struts stroke as the coil has already taken 25-30mm out of the piston (some kits like old man emu supply longer stroke struts/shocks)
The kit you list lowers the complete front strut
so doesnt reduce piston travel, on the rear it has shock extenders to replace the 25mm lost

I will try it out and see if the upgrade is worth it, at the worst I'll just remove them and go back to stock. Thanks.

Not yet, it turns out my Suzuki dealer will invalidate my entire suspension and drive system warranty if I do the lift. So I'm going to wait a few more months to see if anything happens, if not, I will do the lift. I will post once I do the lift.

Hey guys, a quick update....
so I took my vitara to a nearby suspension shop and $50 bucks and 2 hours later here it is with the kit installed.
Tried to get the same angle but its quite difficult!
i guess because of the way of the "after" photo, the lift is more noticeable on the back. But its both 30mm lift spacers in front and back.
added an extra "mix" image with some reference lines for you guys to see better.

now time to get some bigger tires! bounce

forgot to mention:
RIDE QUALITY

I´ve just had the kit installed for 1 day, but I drive around alot.
So, i definitely notice more bumpiness (if thats even a word). But only on rough quick bumps like the yellow round ones.
On all other conditions I do not notice any difference really, other than the higher driving position.

Will be on a trip this weekend so i´ll let you know how it feels on the highway and on dirtroads.

Niiice, I really want an update on this. You are already convincing me to ditch my dealer warranty earlier and install them.

Looks good, what did they use to lift the Vitara, I presume spacers on the rear springs??
(did they extend the shocks or mounts?)
How did they lift the front? Pictures would be great

Back home from our trip.

160 @ highway no issue.
(Yes i know i have a heavy foot)

It felt exactly the same suspension as before installing the kit. Did not feel bodyroll differently either. Im quite happy with the kit. It definitely has that “same stock suspension feel” just as advertised by the ebay seller.

I took it into a really rough dirt road up a mountain and was very pleasantly surprised to find out that only jeeps and ATVs were at the summit. I apologize for not taking 1 single photo or video... but i was enjoying the ride THAT MUCH! It was very challenging too. Steep climbs, loose rocks, little bit of rain and tons of puddles and deep mud. 1st time i have used the LOCK mode in allgrip.

Loving my zuk now even more than before!
Waiting for the winch to arrive and then figure out how to make a clean installation.
Still have some 10k left on my stock tires. The BF Goodrich AllTerrain KO2 will have to wait....

Hi all!
new update:

So I was waiting approximately 5k km to get some BF Goodrich KO2. However, saw a great deal I couldnt refuse. Very cheap Pirelli Scorpions ATR. They are not even close to being as "aggressive" as the KO2s, but as Ive said, could not miss that deal.

Got 225/65 on the stock 17inch Rims.
They finally fill the whole wheel arches! very happy with the result! Was a bit unsure if they would fit w/o any issues (mainly rubbing). However, the tire salesman told me if they would rub, he would unmount and see a smaller size.

You might guessed by now.... they did not rub! I´ve only had them for probably 25km, but i made on purpose some 4-5 full locks on both directions to specifically check for rub marks and very pleased to say that I did not find any!

Im thinking they will eventually rub on some situations like on an offroad trail where the suspension is not as flat as in nice roads. But im quite happy with the result. Specially with the looks. Definitively looks higher overall.

So in theory, my zuk should have now 58mm more ground clearance.
30mm from the lift kit
28mm from the new tires
(not very sure if this is exact, but it feels way higher driving)

here is a photo.
Also, Karl, i took a few shots of the lift kit spacers when they where unmounting the tires. The back spacers are just placed over the spring.
The front ones are also placed on top, but they do have a "separator" bolt. (not to sure how to call it.

It definitely feels way higher!
Cant really comment yet on the handling. Ive had the tires for probably a couple of hours. I will make an update in say.... a week

Winch is arriving in 3 days so also excited about that!
