I must say that I have been out in the snow playing. The Vitara performed brilliantly when other 4 x 4s were stuck I'm very impressed.

Windscreen wipers a bit noisy? Does your radar warning light come on in the snow?

So did mine and also got a message saying that the parking sensors needed cleaning.
Remembered that there was a button to switch them off so did so.

A bit blurry but can't miss my breakfast at the cafe in Llandovery . Almost every Sunday  morning with my old mates . Not very deep but slippy, the Vitara never looked like getting out of shape.

The show has been great fun in the Vitara. I've really enjoyed it more than I have for a long time!

Did any of you manually select the SNOW option on the tunnel, or just let the gearbox do it's own thing?
Ours is an auto and as yet we've not had snow here, but nice to be prepared.

As I had reversed into a deeper than normal gulley, mine really didn't want to pull away from the cafe until it went into snow mode, after that it was straight out and no more issues .

Snow mode is great in snow, I had a similar experience out in the snow, no problem getting in or out in the snow, it was great fun!

What tyres do you have fitted ?

I have a spare set of 16" Alloys that i have been trying to sell, however am now considering (again) buying a set of TPMS sensors and Winter rubber for them.

I have put winter tyres on my Missus' little Fiat 500 this year and it felt totally secure on the 40 mile ( return) commute to work and back over the last few days, a mixture of A Roads, Dual Carriage and twisty country lanes, through Rain, snow, hail, low temps, mud etc. She has been using my Vit all week so i never got to have a play...
