THIS ... 36 mm long, about 2 mm larger in diameter than OEM, but still fit in the visor mirror.

I decided just my boot light needed upgrading so have bought a T10 White Xenon W5W 501 LED. When I attempted to fit it yesterday, I found the arms on my original bulb holder will not accommodate the new LED without some modification. Did you bend them, file them down, or what?   confused

I did have one led that needed the arms bending sligtly to fit.
Have you a picture of the led your trying to fit?

With that type some of the black insulation/heat shrink interferes on the rear luggage lamp, you can taper the insulation away with a sharp blade to allow it to fit

Thanks Karl for the above - as he says, taper the insulation with a blade or fine file.
