Earlier this year I was asked to deliver a car from the UK to Iceland, taking a ferry from Hull to Rotterdam, drive through Holland, Germany and to the tip of Denmark. From Hirtshals in Denmark we then had a 3 day ferry to Iceland with a 9 hour stop over in the Faroe Isles
Once in Iceland we drove anti clockwise around Iceland and delivered the car to be stored for future use over there.
With two days left and needing a vehicle to get to the airport I decided to hire a Suzuki S-Cross, 1.6 automatic AllGrip....

Next time, take me with you! Iceland looks like a fascinating place to visit. How did the auto perform on the rugged stuff ?

It is certainly a must do trip Gar altho I would recommend going when there is snow on the ground to get a real taste of Iceland

The S-Cross had 44,000km on the clock, looking at the bodywork it was a hard 44k but mechanically it was smooth and rattle free, the Auto was a joy and very composed driving at crawling speeds over some of the rougher sections that pictures don't show

Now we all know the fastest car in the world is a rental? Twisted Evil

As you can see the cruise control was on that picture , along with the auto and the long distances between towns high mpg was easily achieved

Glad you like the pics, I have some other Suzuki pics I took on route that I will post later camera
