The first pic is around 10 months old when water stormed into the garage at my workplace because of downpour outside. No rugged pack yet but my rear windows were already extra tinted.

Thank you. My holidays are already over until September but it was great, also because of Vitara of course.

I think so too! And an elderly Vitara driver from Austria who spotted the car and the decal outside a local market, asked me whether the decal is factory-made and how can he get it. I linked him to the forums, now we'll see if he'll appear and want one. Cool

I'm thinking of adding a black spoiler to my Vitara. Though the car is silver, I think a black one would look good in a combination with tinted windows, black door covers and black rims (not fitted yet).

For a rough idea on how it may look on the Silver take a look at the Vitara Kuro in White, this also comes with a black rear spoiler and also black mirrors, I saw one in my rear view mirror on the motorway this week and was quite confused with the black mirror covers but white roof, it really did look different....

Thanks, it looks great. These are Misti black rims, right? I'm thinking of adding these ones.

Though the blackened interior looks good, I agree, I'm dubious about possible scratches, I think they'd be much more visible than on the current silvery setting.

Can confirm, the piano black interior pack will swirl and swirl and swirl.

I should get new Misti black rims and a black spoiler mounted on my Vitara at the end of July or in early August, at the same time I'll also have my damaged bonnet painted.

However, the following Tuesday I'll have my front windows tinted (65%), not as dark as back windows which are extra-tinted, but there'll be a difference. I believe this is illegal in the entire EU, but it's known that our policemen aren't picky when it comes to tinted windows as long as driver's ones aren't pitch black.

I'll post some pics when I get it done.

Ziga, Will you get your front windows replaced by tinted ones or just get a tinted film applied on current windows? Sorry I'm a bit confused.
In Turkey, original tinted windows are OK (just like original tinted rear windows of Vitara). But very dark film application on windows is forbidden. I have films on my front windows which are at the same color as the original rear ones, and it is OK for cops. It is cost effective solution (costs ca. EUR50 for 2 front windows).

I will get films for front windows (40€) but they won't be as pitch-black as my rear windows. In Slovenia, as long as your front windows aren't pitch-black, policemen don't complicate.

No rims and spoiler yet but I had my front windows tinted to 65%. It's only a slight tint and not overly noticeable which is good because I don't want to be pulled over by cops. Rear windows have already been tinted to 95% for over a year.

Hi Ziga,

I guess the original rear windows are around 85-90%, not completely sure about the exact value. But definitely not less than 85.
My front windows are 85% tinted (LLUMAR brand film, which is a product from Eastman Chemical Company, USA). It is also known as "Number-2" in TR. Number-1 is used for 95% tinted films. I add a photo below. At the moment I only have this photo. Later I can add another one from a better angle to compare original rear ones with filmed front ones.

It looks great, I wish that cops in Slovenia wouldn't bother you at 80+% tint but a lot of people have problems with too dark windows, so I rather decided to play it safe and go with 65% though it's a very light tint, especially in bright sunlight.

Post some more pics of your car from different angles, please.

I had the black grille and the left front light replaced today because they were damaged (source unknown but it looked like something "fell" on the bonnet, scratching it and the grille and the light while sliding down), and I also had black rims and the black spoiler mounted.

I think I'm done "pimping" my Vitara for a while.

Some modifications I already posted, but some are new, so I'll list them again: rugged pack, black wrapped pillars, misti matte black alloy wheels, rear black spoiler, stainless exhaust trim, front window tint 65%, rear window & back window tint 95%. Thanks to fellow member LourensL for the link to the exhaust trim and for the idea of wrapping pillars to black.
