Rear Lights Empty Rear Lights

Post by zukiara on Mon Jan 09, 2017 8:11 pm

I am interested in acquiring the LED read tail lights for my Crosser, as the aperture is the same, so being the good little lad that I am I asked my dealer if it was possible to swop them over, if the plugs where different I could pin out are rewire to my existing plugs, the only worry would be Can Bus detection system for different voltage?, the response I received was confusing?
" I'm afraid itll be Ebay.com or India as you don't get those lights here in the UK" Even though I had shown him a facelifted S Cross SZ5 with LED tail lights on the vehicle within the dealers car compound? So does this mean that either he hasn't understood a word I have said or Suzuki GB has to order a Maritu unit from India because the UK ones don't exist? lol
Anyone have any thoughts?
I was going to get them fitted before I go to the Donington 4x4 show with my Crosser next month!!

I think that is your answer Rolling Eyes

If you look on some of the Swift Sport forums I'm sure I recall some fitting LED taillights , this may help with your resistance questions, I don't think the Vitara or S-Cross is Canbus but could be wrong

Being as you are the ambassador of the S-Cross here on vivavitara i'm sure you may already know but as well as Maruti have you tried Aliexpress for Chinese built Changan S-Cross rear taillight options, may be nothing but worth a search?

Yup That's the oe units that I want, but there ya go, parts people that like planes rather than cars?

If I could get a chassis number from a face lift I might just order one piece to see if it may be a swop, Its like when Suzuki GB told me that I couldn't put a 1.0 litre short block engine in my 0.8 litre LJ80, and a 1.6 litre short block into my 1.3 litre DOHC Swift GTI, Utter Tosh
