COMMUNAL CAR PARKS Empty COMMUNAL CAR PARKS

Does any one park their Vitara on a communal private car park over night, as against a locked garage, as found at many apartment blocks. If so has your insurance company loaded you with a silly premium ?

Mine is kept in just such a location. I moved into an apartment 3 years ago from a private house where the car was kept on the driveway. There was no change in the insurance premium for my (then) Mokka. I  declared where the car would be parked in order to avoid any potential problems. Insured with LV= Smile

One year when I had my garage full of stuff and I had to park my car on the public road for most of the year the premium was about £50 more.

Much of this will depend on exactly where you live and the risk profile of your local area.
