Has anyone taken out GAP insurance on their new Vitara and if so who did you use please.

Have a look here for more info http://www.moneysavingexpert.com/car-insurance/gap-insurance , I think we decided on easygap or 123, GF did it so not sure what one, we decided to get it as we bought an ex demo, so not covered by the one year new car replacement you normally get with your car insurance.

I got one year with the insurance but then at the last minute, when I was taking delivery, I accepted the dealers extra two years, making three in total. I don't remember it being too expensive. Basically if it is written off you get the value of the car at the time of the crash, made up to the buying price by the insurer.
So I just hope that if after one year I do have a crash the car will be totalled, and nobody will be hurt

I had three years free thrown in by Suzuki, didn't ask for it but when I signed the paperwork they said they had thrown it in to the deal.
