My Crosser Empty My Crosser

Post by zukiara on Thu Aug 18, 2016 11:01 pm

This is my S-Cross and its a 1.6 Diesel Allgrip SZ-5, so it has all the toys and I just love to drive it, Quick, Positive and relaxing. I bought it from Northampton Suzuki in March 2015 and it was an Ex Suzuki GB motor, it was a deal I couldn't turn down, it was my kids choice lol

My Crosser 20150328_Sml

My first modification was wheel spacers, 20mm front and 25mm rear.

My Crosser 20150821_104222

The second thing was a small 40mm lift kit.

My Crosser 20150913_110833

Easy to fit and a nice bit of clearance for larger tyres

My Crosser 20151106_151037

Then from Ebay a front smoke deflector

My Crosser 20160117_131324_HDR

And from the same suppler a nice tail piece

My Crosser 20160206_084512

A cheap vinyl enhancement next in three parts,
Matt headlamp and tail-light brows

My Crosser 20160219_130610

My Crosser 20160219_130544

But my favourite is the addition from the rear quarter window to the boot hatch line, a real finishing point.

Nice quality skid plates, I have used Asfir before on my GV and Jimny but didn't realise they did them for the s-cross which of course will also fit the Vitara, very nice!

Looking good, I guess with Michelin and BFG being in bed together those G-Grip all seasons are going to be on par with the well respected Michelin Alpin thumbl

Have you got much snow up there to try them?

Where did you get the dash mat in the end, only seen them on Aus sites

Well the new tyres are feeling good so far and in the slick they have been well planted, praying for snow lol

Dash mat was from an Australian company on Ebay fast_fusionautomotive

http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Coal-Dashmat-for-SUZUKI-S-Cross-AKK16-12-2013-on-Dash-Mat-DM1347-/141759340677

Roof Basket, Waffle Boards and Hi-lift now here, just need to work out fitment and securing them all.

Suzuki Dundee has mine and their Graphics so need to get it booked in for fitment

Ive been looking at other rear light options but am running out of time as they will have to be made and shipped form t'other side of planet,

Since this is not a brute off roader like all my others its only a 33" one, no need for anything else really, Ill look at making a design for a tool to lift the car without damage after the show and there's no mad panic.

Basket looks great, are you getting much noise from it?

I have one of these shovels I mount to the basket...

With the Graphics would there be any chance of adding the additions URL www.allgrip.co.uk ???

Hi Karl,
Of course there's room for your URL, Ill get pictures up of the remaining space, please think long term as the Dealer items will be removed after the show, I havent seen the dealer items yet either, so ideally friday night pictures and work out where and what will fit?
Cheers

The basket is ok for the money, plus wind noise has been ok, the rails are louder but its very liveable, but the big test will be the 600 odd mile round trip for the show, I will probably do a show write up and how the car behaved piece after I get back.

Spoiler Picture so another item ticked off, the rear window is slightly cleaner for longer which is good and just makes the rear end a bit more purposeful.

Tailgate, I had the Allgrip badge removed but I have kept it to refit when I sell on the car.

My Crosser IMG_20170203_163913

Front Wings next, I have a Suzuki wallet and this has Suzuki printed in Japanese which I liked So that was first then the red Suzuki S and finally the Black Omega.

My Crosser IMG_20170203_164016

Side Doors, Firstly Liz's Motormode company who again supplied my graphics and this time FOC, finally West End Suzuki who sponsored me with new number plates, Graphic's fitment and some fuel.
