Why on earth those wheels ? Can understand steel wheels for gen. Off road work. Surely there is a spoked type wheel available, rather than ones with missing hub caps ?

Strength, pepperpot wheels are far stronger than any spoked arrangement, even the military specify pepperpot steels on their wolf defenders and a firm favorite with anyone building an off roader

For the agricultural/forestry/hunting market the ranger is aimed at I would say strength is more a necessity than style

Nice....but can we see the pictures closer to the lift system? Whay are the dimensions of the wheels? What kind of tyres dimensioms are on the Vitara?

If you travel to Germany you can see it at all angles but this is all that was posted on their website

The tyres are 215/60R16

Elsewhere on the forum you will read I drove a Vitara with slightly oversize tyres that caused the Automatic gearbox mot to change gear correctly, some members have been fine with this but generally the standard size is recommended

I like the angle of the rear driveshafts much better on this setup than my standard SZ5, I think I might look at something for the rear at least to assist when towing.
