Door drips Empty Door drips

Post by RichK on Fri May 20, 2016 11:07 am

One thing that narks me a bit about our Vitara is when the car is wet after rain, water seems to collect above the door seals and drips down onto car sill trims and sometimes seat bolsters when the doors are opened. Looks more of a design issue.

Mate! Couldn't agree more. Happens throughout the Vitara and Scross range

Yes agree there, but Vitara not the first car I have experienced this problem.

I have found unless you have a commercial or people carrier with vertical sides the rain water is going to drip on the seats whatever, unless you own a Mitsubishi Toppo where the water has had time to evaporate by the time it hits the seats Laughing

It's just that my GV never did it so assume it had different seals, just got used to now, if car is wet opening the doors and wait for the drips to finish before getting in. This is the first car I have had this issue with.
