TPMS - Theoretical Question Empty TPMS - Theoretical Question

Theoretical Question.

I have a Vitara-S fitted with standard 17" wheels and tyres and TPMS sensors calibrated to the car.
Along comes winter and I want to fit a set of 16" wheels and A/T tyres also fitted with another set
of TPMS sensors which have also been calibrated to the same car.
When the spring arrives and when I want to change back to the standard wheels and tyres will they need
re-calibrating.
What I am really asking is it the sensors or the car that is calibrated.
If it is the sensors I can change the wheels back an forth without any problems, but if it is the car that
changed it will require a visit to the garage twice per year.
Can anyone enlighten me.
It would appear TPMS is more bother than it's worth.

If you have original TPMS sensors on both sets of wheels you don't need to do anything.
The TPMS receiver in the car will adjust itself.
