To finish off the rear of my SZ5 I found this quality Stainless item from Ebay seller wolftan-fhn

Fitment is easy as pushing the Stainless trim over the exhaust and retaining by tightening the allen pin on the captured nut

Listed as fitting a Suzuki S-Cross the trim is a perfect fit with no modification or fouling of the bumper

He has this listed for the vitara, have you trimmed the end off the original because in the ebay pic it looks as if the outlet will strangle the exhaust gases?

No left it standard, I'm in the process of looking at that at the moment, mine is quite sluggish mid range and I'm putting it down to the trim. Will remove it the weekend and try it.

There are exhaust tips available that accommodate downward facing tail pipes to allow for the gases to pass. The tip it's self merely has an aesthetic purpose.

If you're feeling brave, maybe you could cut away a section to allow for this.

I guess 30 seconds with a grinder to remove the pointy top bit and everything will be fine with the trim fitted, which looks nice by the way.

I have placed this one.

Stainless Exhaust Trim Endpip10

I trimmed the end off the original exhaust so it fits better.

Before I mounted the end pipe I have geplastidipt it, so it looks smoother on my Vitara.

There are signs of rust appearing on my trim and unfortunately this seller doesn't have any more of them available.

I'd like to order a new one but this time I'll get it wrapped before placing.

Do you think this is the same item?

I just cleaned the exhaust trim today with some chrome cleaner and steel wool. What I thought to be rust, turned out to be dirt that looked like rust. Now the exhaust trim is shining again.
