I think a few people have had them wrapped in a vinyl sheet and then trimmed out.

You can buy the side vents in black with red insert, instead of the silver insert. Look on www.suzuki-parts.co.uk for Front Wing Garnish Set, £23.66. Have not seen any red inserts for the front grille.

I think it sets the front off nicely, and not being a fan of chrome, it's worked out well.

I have painted the silver bits of the front grill red on my Vitara S. Wrapping or painting by professional painter would of course look better but I'm happy wiht it.

Yes, so the paint goes round the edge - and the actual grill stays black Smile I have tried masking with tape on some other parts but it didn't go so well...

I have the side vents wrapped red.

you can easily remove them from the car and then take them apart in 2 pieces to wrap. 10 minutes of work

A question for Lourensi and Sakke. I see that you both have painted your disc brake calipers red. Did you dismantle the calipers, or did you just paint them as they are with the wheel off.
Did you use spray paint or paint them by hand. I have a red Vitara S, and the calipers dont look to good through the black alloy wheels, and I think they will look good painted red.

I love wrapping because I can do it myself. I'm not that handy with paint Smile

I also have wrapped my dashboard an air vents front grill on the s Daschb11

This is how I did it... On the car.

And i used two-component paint, especially for calipers.

I painted them by hand using brake caliber paint when the wheels were off.
