Wyhtecat,

I have to adjust my clock a couple of times a year (and I don't mean for BST and GMT). It does slow down, not hugely, but enough to be annoying as it indicates a different time to the ICE.

Our's does and after much googling can't find an answer to remedy it.
Sadly, gone are the days of moving the +/- adjusting lever on modern clocks.

As you know there are 3 clocks and mine are all slightly different times, most annoying.

If you visit your dealer and describe the problem there is a bulletin where a new clock is installed

Once the above clock has been replaced the centre clock and dashboard clock will be in synch...…….if the Head unit clock is out that can only be user error having not set the centre/dash clock to the head unit

Which one do you mean? The analogue clock?

My centre/analogue clock and the dash board clock are in sync. But they both are a bit slow and have to be set now and then. Is it still a new analogue clock that will fix this?

(The head unit clock is always correct.)

I think the bulletin if I recall was the non synchronisation of the centre analogue clock and the digital time clock on the Speedo
Could be worth a try with your dealers?

Thanks.
I'll ask (tell) them. But I'm not to hopeful. Especially since the analogue clock is not standard in all versions so it would be strange if it helps to replace that. That "Speedo" clock should be able to work by itself. So it's seams reasonable that it's the synchronisation that is the problem, if any.

Can confirm. There is a centre clock issue on some models. Should be an easy warranty job.

Remember the days when you got into the car and turned the starter motor, and the engine failed to engage, and got slower and slower until the battery went flat !!

Takes 10 seconds to adjust the clock; we need to get our priorities right !!!

Karl / Gar Green

I don't suppose you are able to find any details of the bulletin referring to the slow clock (number etc). I had my car serviced today and although I made them aware of the issue and the existence of the bulletin, they couldn't find anything. The senior tech is away at the moment which probably doesn't help!

I appreciate this is a 1st world problem and it won't be the end of the world if it's not rectified, but it is irritating that the analogue and instrument clocks don't hold time.
