Rear seat base removal Empty Rear seat base removal

I need to get under the rear seat base, is it possible to remove the bit you sit on?
It seems to lift up slightly at the outer edges but something is holding it down.
No information in the owners manual about this either.... Question

Just lift. Plastic retainers. I have removed mine several times.

To remove it completely you need to remove the plastic clips over the child seat tether.

( I might be on thin ice with the language here but I think you know what I mean.)
