VITARA HYBRID Empty VITARA HYBRID

I have just read some interesting press stories after doing a google search for suzuki vitara hybrid. Looks like suzuki are going to join the electric bandwagon , maybe fewer models but all with mild or full hybrid options . A mention of a tie with toyota hybrid technology was mentioned .

Can confirm, I’ve heard this down the line in work. Hearing it may be a swap deal for Suzukis AllGrip tech for Toyotas Hybrid.

Let's hope this badge engineering works out better for Suzuki than their previous attempts
Several years ago in the USA Suzuki ruined their reputation by launching the the Suzuki Verona (Daewoo Magnus) XL7 ll (Chevrolet Equinox) and Equator pick up (Nissan Frontier) all of which resulted in poor reliability then lack of sales which led to Suzuki Motors USA filing for bankruptcy and Suzuki no longer selling cars or 4wds in the USA

This appears rather disappointing; I was hoping there might soon be an allgrip Vitara fitted with Toyota hybrid engine........ Sad
